Dural

We’re a privately owned group with two businesses—one in construction and the other in eCommerce—and we’re looking for a capable, proactive Administration & Operations Support to assist two Directors and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who can work autonomously, stay organised under pressure, and confidently juggle admin, operations, and light warehouse support.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Administration & Operations Support person to provide high-level administration, HR and record-keeping support directly to the Director across both businesses — someone who thrives on structure, doesn't let details slip, and can juggle admin, HR and logistics across two companies without needing to be told twice.

This is a genuinely hands-on role. It's not a quiet desk job — it's varied, high-volume and occasionally full-on. This is not for the faint hearted. If you like a slow, predictable day, this isn't it. If you like solving problems and keeping a busy, multi-business operation organised, you'll thrive here.

Starts as permanent part-time, moving to full-time at the end of a 6-month probation period.

What You'll Do

- Provide high-level general administration support directly to the Director across both the construction and ecommerce businesses
- Maintain accurate, well-organised records and accounts documentation,

and provide record-keeping and accounts administration support to our external bookkeeper/accountant (reconciliations and payables are handled externally — this role keeps the records and paperwork clean and ready for them)
- Provide HR administration support — employee records, onboarding and offboarding paperwork, letters of offer, and maintaining compliance documentation across both businesses
- Coordinate logistics support across both businesses — construction site deliveries, materials and subcontractor liaison on one side; supplier, inventory and order logistics on the other
- Maintain well-organised digital systems and filing across both entities
- Manage correspondence, scheduling and document management for the Director
- Support day-to-day operations more broadly — ordering supplies, coordinating trades/services/suppliers, and general problem-solving as things come up
- Flag issues early and follow through — this role needs someone who takes ownership, not just instructions

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 5 years' experience in an administration, HR administration and/or accounts administration role
- High level of administration skill — you run a tight, organised system and keep on top of competing priorities across multiple businesses
- Solid record-keeping, accounts administration and HR admin experience,

comfortable working alongside an external bookkeeper/accountant
- High level of computer literacy — confident across accounting/record-keeping software, spreadsheets, cloud filing systems and general office tech; quick to pick up new tools
- Exceptional attention to detail — nothing gets past you
- A genuinely hands-on attitude — willing to get stuck in, not afraid of a busy, sometimes chaotic day spanning two different industries
- Robust written and verbal communication
- Reliable, resilient and comfortable working autonomously
- Australian Working Rights a MUST

What's On Offer

- Permanent part-time position with a clear path to full-time after a 6-month probation period
- A varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, across two genuinely different businesses
- The chance to build and own the systems that keep both operations running
- Direct, close working relationship with the Director

How to Apply

Send your resume and a short cover note telling us why you're the right fit to [email protected] - Only candidates who genuinely meet the minimum 5 years' experience will be considered.
