We are an established home care provider supporting older people and individuals with disabilities to live safely and independently at home.

We are seeking an experienced Administration / Roster Officer to join our friendly office team.

This is a fast-paced, phone-based role that is an important part of our day-to-day operations. You will coordinate and maintain participant and Support Worker rosters, while also providing administration support to the team.

You will need to be organised, solution-focused and comfortable juggling competing priorities, responding to changes and communicating with participants, Support Workers, families and other stakeholders.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Manage Support Worker rosters, taking into account participant requirements and staff availability
- Ensure Support Worker rosters comply with the SCHADS Award
- Monitor and adjust rosters in response to changing participant needs, staff availability and leave requests, including all required follow-up
- Respond to service-related emails in a timely manner
- Work with the Office Manager and team to resolve rostering issues and concerns promptly
- Manage brokerage participants, including onboarding and shift allocation

Administration

- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and management team
- Coordinate day-to-day administration and reception activities
- Respond to and triage phone calls and emails
- Maintain positive relationships with participants, Support Workers and other internal and external stakeholders




- Maintain office systems, databases and participant records
- File and archive documents as required
- Assist with other tasks as directed by the Office Manager or Management team

What You'll Need

- Administration experience
- Previous rostering experience is advantageous
- Experience in aged care and/or disability services is desirable
- Microsoft Office skills are essential
- Experience using rostering and/or client management systems
- Robust organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Flexibility to provide additional cover when another team member is on leave across Monday–Friday

Hours & Ongoing Employment

- 15 hours per week guaranteed
- Casual position with a view to permanent
- Monday–Friday office hours
- The successful applicant must be willing to assist with additional days when team members are on annual or sick leave

Requirements The successful applicant must have:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Police Check issued within the previous 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination – minimum 3 doses

Pay: $33.71 – $38.89 per hour
