Join one of Australia's most established Defence organisations, delivering and sustaining critical naval capability from its Henderson facility in Western Australia.

With a national footprint, a highly skilled workforce and a significant pipeline of long-term Defence work, this business is continuing to invest in its corporate and safety functions. As a result, they are seeking an experienced WHSE Administration Officer to support the effective operation of the Work Health, Safety and Environment function across the organisation.

The Opportunity

You'll provide the administrative and business support that keeps the WHSE function running, partnering closely with the Head of WHSE and the wider corporate team to support governance, reporting, compliance and day-to-day operations.

Working within a collaborative and well-established corporate team, you'll be at the centre of meeting coordination, documentation, procurement and travel activity, helping ensure critical WHSE information and processes remain accurate, effective and aligned with the organisation's priorities. This is a replacement position following an internal promotion, with a genuine handover available from the outgoing administrator.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and business support to the Head of WHSE and the corporate WHSE team.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, correspondence, agendas, minutes and action tracking.
- Maintain WHSE systems, records, registers, reports and document control processes.
- Prepare meeting materials, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders. Support procurement activity including purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoice processing.
- Coordinate domestic travel, accommodation and associated logistics.
- Manage stakeholder enquiries and support WHSE meetings, workshops and events.
- Assist with audits, compliance activities, corrective action tracking and governance requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve systems,

processes and administrative efficiency.

About YouWe're interested in hearing from career administrators who take genuine pride in the role and understand the value of getting the detail right. You may come from a corporate services, business support, team coordination or office administration background, but you'll bring:

- Proven experience providing high-level administrative support within a corporate, business or governance environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience maintaining records, registers, documents and business systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exposure to procurement, invoice processing, financial administration and travel coordination. Advanced proficiency across Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally at all levels.
- High attention to detail, discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- A Certificate III or IV in Business Administration will be well regarded.
- Experience gained in oil and gas, mining, construction, utilities or other highly regulated environments transfers well.
- WHS knowledge is a bonus but not a requirement.

Why apply? This is an opportunity to join a supportive, close-knit corporate team within an organisation contributing directly to Australia's national security. You'll work alongside senior leaders in a role with real visibility, backed by a structured handover and a team that genuinely supports each other.

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary package, hybrid working with three days in the office and two from home, ten days of additional leave each year, generous parental leave, subsidised childcare, and ongoing professional development within a business offering long-term, secure career opportunities.
