Where you'll be working
Based at Westmead Hospital, you’ll join Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) and provide dedicated administrative support to the Operational Preparedness portfolio for Rouse Hill Hospital. You’ll work closely with project leaders, health professionals and stakeholders in a collaborative environment where organisation, initiative and responsive service make a real difference.
- Support a major health infrastructure and operational preparedness portfolio

What you'll be doing
As Administrative Officer, you’ll provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the Senior Project Manager, Operational Preparedness. Your ability to prioritise, communicate and anticipate what’s needed will help keep this fast-moving portfolio on track.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, papers,
minutes, diaries and follow-up actions
- Manage correspondence, enquiries and information flow, escalating risks and priorities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using Content Manager and relevant systems
- Coordinate workshops and events while liaising confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Support workforce administration, including leave, rostering, payroll, recruitment, invoicing and systems such as HealthRoster and Oracle

As an Administrative Officer, within the Rouse Hill Hospital Operational Planning Team, you’ll contribute to the exciting journey of preparing a new hospital for opening. You will support critical planning, coordination and engagement activities which will ensure patients, staff and the community experience a welcoming, safe and patient centred healthcare facility from day one.

1. Demonstrated organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload, be flexible and show initiative, and remain proficient in periods of high demand and activity
2.
Demonstrated skills with evidence of capacity to review and vet responses to issues while maintaining strict confidentiality.
3. Demonstrated experience in supporting senior management in relation to collation of papers, agendas, minutes, presentations and related actions.
4. Experience in using Outlook and MS Office Software, typing skills.
5. Experience in use of Content Manager, HealthRoster, and Oracle or an ability to learn recent software quickly and effectively.
6. Previous experience working in health or a work environment that demonstrates an ability to meet the selection criteria.
