Are you an experienced HVAC Estimator looking for your next opportunity with an established and growing building services contractor?

This is an opportunity to join a well-established team delivering commercial HVAC projects across Brisbane and Queensland, with the chance to play a key role in pricing and securing new work.

The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced HVAC Estimator to join the team and take ownership of estimating and tendering activities across a range of commercial HVAC projects.

Working closely with the wider pre-construction, project and management teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates while ensuring projects are commercially viable.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Preparing detailed estimates and tenders for commercial HVAC projects

Reviewing project plans, specifications, scopes and documentation

Completing quantity take-offs and reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing

Obtaining and assessing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

Identifying project risks, exclusions and opportunities

Preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions

Working closely with project managers, engineers and clients throughout the tender process





Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation

Supporting the business in identifying and securing new project opportunities

We are looking for someone with

Previous experience estimating within the HVAC / mechanical services industry

Robust understanding of commercial HVAC systems and construction

Experience preparing tenders and detailed project estimates

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation

Strong understanding of project costs, materials, labour and subcontractor pricing

Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines

A proactive and solutions-focused approach

A trade, engineering or building services background will be highly regarded.
