LPL Electrics Group is a growing electrical contracting company based in Thomastown, servicing Melbourne and surrounding areas. We work across a range of electrical projects and are committed to delivering quality workmanship, reliable service and qualified results for our customers.
We are currently looking for a 1st or 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team and develop their skills and experience within the electrical industry.
About the Role
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced electricians and tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of electrical works.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assisting electricians with day-to-day electrical works
- Learning and developing practical electrical skills
- Assisting with installations, maintenance and repairs
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized worksite
- Loading, unloading and maintaining tools and materials
- Following instructions and working effectively as part of a team
- Attending TAFE and completing all required apprenticeship training
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Currently undertaking an Electrical Apprenticeship
- 1st or 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Keen to learn and develop their trade skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working on construction sites
- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Well presented and professional
- Safety-conscious
- Holds a current driver's licence.
- Previous electrical or construction experience is desirable.
