The Role You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to detailed design and inspection. Day to day:

Design maritime structures: quay walls, wharves, jetties,



piles, sheet piling, seawalls, waterfronts, boat harbours, navigation aids

Structural analysis and design calcs, plus review of others’ work

Berthing assessments and mooring analysis

Technical documentation: Basis of Design, design reports, technical notes, feasibility studies

Sketches for CAD/Revit drafting, and drawing reviews

Structural inspections and reporting

Managing small projects and coordinating design teams

What You'll Bring

Civil or Structural Engineering degree

Background in Maritime Structural or Coastal Engineering

Min. four years' Australian Maritime or Coastal experience

Experience preparing proposals and delivering projects

Solid written and verbal communication

Ability to work independently and coordinate across disciplines

Desire to achieve Chartered status (strongly preferred)
