Storia on Queen is an authentic Italian restaurant, located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. Trading 7 days a week (Mon-Fri - 5.30am - 10pm) (Sat-Sun - 7am - 10pm). Serving handmade Italian dishes, using the finest produce.

Job tasks and responsibilities

n

We are currently seeking a customer focused Restaurant managerwho can:

n

Work as part of the Food and Beverage team to instil a culture of superior customer service

n

Work alongside and supervise line staff. This requires having a working knowledge of all operational areas within the Restaurant environment

n

Manage and execute the day-to-day operations of the restaurant

n

Supervise, coordinate and train bar and wait staff to ensure high product knowledge and exceptional customer service is given

n

Ensure the work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness

n

Be able to read and modify if required staff rosters to meet the needs of the bar and restaurant

n

Cash handling and till reconciliation

n

Opening and closing procedures

n

Stock Control

n

The position involves day and night shifts.

n

Skills and experience

n





A true hospitality skilled with a minimum of 2years experience in a high volume hospitality role

n

Previous leadership experience

n

Exceptional personal presentation and hygiene

n

Enjoy working with people

n

Good organisational and time management skills

n

Good interpersonal and supervisory skills

n

An up to date RSA and any other associated qualifications.

n

Supportive management thatwill give you autonomy and direction

n
