This paid 18-week Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) Program starting in October is designed to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants develop practical workplace skills, gain valuable hands-on experience and complete a nationally recognised Certificate I in Workplace Skills.
n
This training is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. This program provides the training, mentoring and support you need to build confidence and prepare you for future employment.

What You'll Be Doing
n

- Providing friendly reception and customer service
n
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
n
- Answering phone and email enquiries
n
- Data entry and maintaining client records
n
- Preparing professional correspondence and reports
n
- Filing and document management
n
- Supporting day-to-day office operations
n
- Assisting clients in a professional and respectful manner
n

We're looking for people who are: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
n
Reliable and committed to work a Full Time roster - 38 hours Monday - Friday Friendly and motivated to learn with a willingness to take on new challenges Positive communicators who enjoy helping others
n
Able to work independently and as part of a team Interested in a career in administration or healthcare Adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
n
Requirements
n
Experience using Microsoft Office is an advantage but not essential Mandatory Requirements The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain the following clearances:
n

- Blue Card (Working with Children)
n
- Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Check)
n
- National Police History Check
n
n
