You will be working across a busy 7-day bistro operation offering classic pub and club meals, steaks, schnitzels, pastas, salads, rotating specials and functions.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking meals during busy lunch and dinner services
- Working across different kitchen sections including grill, pans, fryer and larder
- Completing daily prep and maintaining section readiness
- Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
- Following food safety, cleaning and kitchen procedures
- Assisting with functions and special events
- Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team
- Helping maintain a positive, professional and well-organised kitchen

About you

- Has previous experience working as a chef in a restaurant, pub, club, hotel or similar environment
- Is confident working in a busy service
- Can work well as part of a team
- Is reliable, punctual and organised
- Takes pride in producing consistent food




- Has a good understanding of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Is comfortable working evenings and weekends as part of a rotating roster
- Has relevant cookery qualifications or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in high-volume bistro or club kitchens would be highly regarded
