Return to Work Coordinator Consultant / Contractor - Based in Canberra ACT

Our company Rehab Options Injury Management requires a Return To Work Coordinator Consultant / Contractor who is based in Canberra (ACT). This to assist with our National profile by providing services in Canberra Metropolitan area.

- Applicants should have experience with ACT Return To Work (RTW) legislation and experience and Workers Compensation Insurers.
- Completion of the relevant ACT Return To Work Coordinator training.
- Prepared to work with the National team and our proven strategies to get the best possible outcome in all matters referred by our valued clients.
- Experience in communication with Workers Compensation and Scheme Insurers regarding the rehabilitation and management of workplace injuries in line with our Corporate Head Office Sydney, our valued clients and the relevant Policies and Procedures.
- Be able to schedule workplace or medical appointments and attend some appointments from time to time, if required, in the interests of obtaining the best outcome.

The Role:

We currently have an opportunity for a Return to Work Coordinator Consultant / Contractor in Canberra (ACT). Based on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant you will engage or be trained to be an effective and qualified member of the team. It is highly desirable that you have outstanding written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to engage all parties to achieve positive outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Exposure to Rehabilitation Injury Case Management, Dealing with Clients, Insurers, Injured Workers and Medical Professionals. Self Insurance involvement.
- Preparing detailed documents to facilitate the injury management process.
- As a team member all necessary duties to facilitate effective and timely outcomes.

Keys skills and experience required:

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills via verbal and written
- Strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude'
- Experience as a Return to Work Coordinator, Case Manager is preferred
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
