As the business navigates a period of transformation and growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to provide leadership and support to the finance function on a contract basis.

Position

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will play a critical role in leading the finance team and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting, strong governance and commercial support across the business. A background working inagriculture would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the day-to-day finance function and finance team of 4. Totalfinance Team 14 .
Managing month-end, year-end and statutory reporting requirements
- Preparing and presenting management reports to senior leadership




- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance processes
- Partnering with operational stakeholders to support business performance
- Driving process improvement initiatives and finance projects
- Supporting organisational transformation and future team structure planning

This is an initial contract of up to 12 months and requires a hands-on leader who can quickly add value in a fast-paced environment.

Profile

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller who combines strong technical capability with commercial acumen and leadership experience.

To be successful, you will have:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader
- Strong financial reporting, compliance and governance expertise
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture, manufacturing or a similarly operational business environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- A proactive, adaptable and hands‑on approach
- Availability to commence at short notice will be highly regarded
