Job Description

This is a hands-on position working across the bistro kitchen at Brycees Tavern, a local pub and bistro. You will prepare and cook traditional pub and bistro meals, working in a busy kitchen workplace to deliver consistent, quality meals to customers.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking traditional pub and bistro meals
n
- Food preparation and service
n
- Maintaining consistent presentation, portioning and quality
n
- Working efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services
n
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
n
- Stock rotation and minimising food waste
n
- Assisting with deliveries and kitchen organisation
n
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
n
- Assisting with opening and closing kitchen procedures
n

About you

n

- Experience working as a Cook, Chef or experienced kitchen all-rounder
n
- Confidence working across grill, fryer and food preparation
n
- Ability to work independently when required
n




- Ability to remain organised during busy services
n
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
n
- Strong reliability and punctuality
n
- A positive, practical and team-focused attitude
n
- Availability for a mixture of weekday, evening and weekend shifts
n
- Formal cookery qualifications are an advantage, but experienced cooks with strong practical skills are welcome
n
- Casual or part-time position
n
