The Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Dry Fire Technician / Electrician to join our Brisbane Fire team, based in Mansfield, supporting our Dry Fire Service Delivery across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

n

This role is ideal for a motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, customer service, and working as part of a professional fire services team.

n

In this role, you will install, maintain, test, repair, program and commission Fire Alarm & Detection Systems, Emergency Warning Systems, Emergency Lighting and other equipment within your license scope. You will work with the Service team across a variety of sites including commercial and industrial properties, offices, retail, aged care, schools etc. completing mandatory preventative maintenance, defect repairs and minor works projects.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

n

n
- Relevant Cert 3 Trade Qualification and QBCC Occupational Licensing. Electrician qualification advantageous.
n
- Experience with Fire Electrical maintenance, repairs, installations, fault-finding and programming.
n
- High level FIP / EWIS programming is greatly advantageous
n
- Highly developed communication and problem-solving skills with outstanding attention to detail.
n
- Project / Install experience will be highly regarded
n
- Current Driver's License
n
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a pleasant phone manner
n
- Intermediate computer skillsin Microsoft Excel and office-based databases
n
- Be willing to undergo a national police background check.
n
