We are currently seeking experienced NDIS Support Workers to join a specialist support team providing 24/7 support within a complex support environment in the Parramatta region.

n

About the Role

n

n
- Provide intensive 2:1 support within a highly complex support environment
n
- Support a participant with significant behavioural, psychosocial and personal care support needs
n
- Active overnight shifts as part of a 24/7 support model
n
- Work alongside an experienced Shift Mentor and support team
n
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans, Risk Management Plans and therapeutic interventions
n
- Respond professionally to behaviours of concern using a calm and therapeutic approach
n
- Deliver personal care and support with activities of daily living
n
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes and incident reporting
n
- Adhere to strict infection control procedures and PPE requirements
n
- Maintain consistency, professionalism and resilience in a energetic support environment
n

About the Support Environment

n

This role involves supporting a participant with complex support needs in a highly specialised environment. Successful applicants must be comfortable:

n

n




- Working within a high-intensity support setting
n
- Managing behaviours of concern using therapeutic and person-centred approaches
n
- Providing personal care and support with activities of daily living
n
- Following strict infection control measures and PPE requirements
n
- Working collaboratively within a structured 2:1 support model
n
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related field
n
- Demonstrated experience supporting NDIS participants with complex needs
n
- Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategies
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
n
- Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Ability to work active overnight shifts
n
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
n
- Experience within SIL, SDA, mental health, forensic or high-intensity support environments
n
- Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern
n
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practice
n
