A well-established 70-bed residential aged care home in Chatswood is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the clinical team in a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday, AM shifts only. One other position is availble working across a mixture of shifts.

With an experienced Care Manager, onsite Clinical Educator and Nurse Specialist supporting the team, you will be joining a well-supported and fully compliant home.

About the Role

n

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality clinical care across a 70-bed residential aged care home, including a dedicated dementia-specific unit.
n Reporting to an experienced Care Manager, you will work as part of a well-structured clinical team, supported by a Clinical Educator onsite Monday to Thursday and a Nurse Specialist onsite Thursday and Friday.
n This role combines clinical care, resident relationships, documentation and care planning, with a strong focus on maintaining consistently high standards and positive resident outcomes.
n The home operates with a strong clinical structure, including three RNs on AM shifts, three RNs on PM shifts and one RN overnight.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, person-centred clinical care to residents in accordance with their individual care needs

- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and identify changes requiring appropriate intervention or escalation
n
- Maintain compliance with relevant aged care standards, policies and clinical procedures

About You

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum 2 years of consistent residential aged care experience
n
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
n
- Ability to work permanently Monday to Friday on AM shifts, or across a mixture of shifts
n

n

Acute care-only backgrounds will not be considered. This opportunity is specifically suited to a Registered Nurse with genuine and consistent residential aged care experience.
