Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Practice (GP) Ivanhoe and Diamond Creek

You will work closely with our GPs and clinical team across a broad range of general practice and skin cancer nursing duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who enjoys variety, working closely with GPs and being actively involved in patient care rather than performing the same duties every day. The position will be 4-5 days per week, with flexibility to work across both locations and assist with leave coverage when required.

Key responsibilities
n
Skin imaging and skin check equipment - full training provided
n
Assisting with skin cancer procedures, including flaps and grafts and assisting with PDT
n
Wound care and post-procedure management
n
Childhood and travel vaccinations
n
Health assessments
n
Iron infusions
n
ECGs
n
Ear microsuction and ear syringing
n
eHealth and patient record maintenance
n
Stock monitoring and ordering
n
Supporting doctors with the day-to-day clinical needs of the practice
n
About you
n
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
n
A minimum of one year's nursing experience
n
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
n
Confidence using computers and clinical software
n
A commitment to ongoing professional development and training
n
A strong understanding of patient confidentiality and professional standards
n
Flexibility to work across our Ivanhoe and Diamond Creek clinics
n
Emergency Department experience is highly regarded and would be particularly valuable given the clinical and procedural nature of the role
