Rightway Care is seeking a qualified Therapy Support Aide / Allied Health Assistant to support NDIS participants ( Kids and adult aged below 25 years )to achieve their individual therapy and functional goals.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATION

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance – REQUIRED

Applicants must hold a completed Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance to be considered for this position.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver therapy support activities under the direction and supervision of qualified allied health professionals.

Implement therapy programs developed by Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.

Support participants with functional, developmental, communication and daily living activities.

Provide one-to-one support in home, community and other agreed setting

Follow individual therapy plans, support plans and behaviour support strategies.

Maintain accurate session notes and provide feedback to the supervising professional.

Support participant choice, dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Communicate professionally with participants,



families, carers and the broader support team.

Comply with NDIS Practice Standards, safeguarding requirements and Rightway Care policies.

Essential Requirements

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working With Children Check (if working with children)

Current First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow clinical/therapy instructions and work under qualified supervision

Reliable and professional approach

Driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred

Experience Preferred

Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant / Therapy Assistant

Experience working with NDIS participants

Experience supporting children with developmental delays or disability

Experience working under the direction of OT, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy or Behaviour Support professionals

Location: Western Sydney and surrounding areas

Employment: Casual Call
