Jellinbah Mining Pty Ltd is seeking motivated and mechanically minded individuals to join its team as Apprentice Diesel Fitters. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a nationally recognised trade qualification while working in a supportive, hands-on mining environment.

About the role

As an Apprentice Diesel Fitter, you will learn to maintain and repair heavy mining machinery and equipment, diagnose mechanical issues and perform servicing tasks, work safely within a mining operation, develop practical skills alongside qualified tradespeople, and complete your trade qualification while gaining real-world experience.

About you

- Solid mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn





- Genuine interest in heavy diesel mechanics and mining equipment

- Commitment to workplace safety

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Must supply own accommodation

- Australian citizenship is required for this apprenticeship position

- Hold a current QLD driver's license

- Strong Maths, English and Communication Skills

To be considered for this apprenticeship, applicants must reside in Blackwater, Bluff, Dingo or the Central Queensland region, as this is a residential role operating on a 4 days on, 3 days off roster. Evidence of residency may be requested during the recruitment process.
