About the role

You will deliver engaging Arabic language and Islamic Studies lessons that inspire students, nurture their understanding of the faith, and support their academic and personal growth. You'll work within a supportive, values-driven team committed to excellence in education.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and deliver high-quality Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Contribute to school events, programs and the wider community
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage constructively with parents and families

About you

- Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) — this is mandatory
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of Islamic Studies




- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to the values and ethos of our school
- Previous experience teaching Arabic and/or Islamic Studies (desirable)
- Familiarity with the Victorian Curriculum (desirable)
