The Opportunity Our client is a growing business with a complex, multi-entity finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified Accountant looking to take the next step in a dynamic and broad Assistant Financial Accountant role across month-end, management reporting, compliance and process.

This role offers strong exposure to senior executives and non-finance teams, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your business partnering capabilities. This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover. We are very happy to wait for a 4 week notice period.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller, some of your responsibilities will include:

- Assist with month-end accounting, journals, reconciliations and analysis
- Prepare monthly management and business unit reporting
- Assist with cash flow management and fund transfers
- Support statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance and BAS preparation
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and efficiencies
- Partner with stakeholders across the broader business

- You are CA/CPA qualified or part-qualified, having commenced your career in industry or within an accounting firm.
- You bring a robust willingness to learn and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
