We are seeking someone who was born for the hospitality industry and who is hungry to build their career within Best Western Plus North Lakes Hotel.

Working closely with the Front Office Manager, you will provide a high level of customer service for our guests. You should have Guest Service experience in a similar role, a positive attitude, as well as the ability to work a flexible 7-day roster. A well-presented person with the willingness to learn will be the perfect fit.

We operate a 4.5 star hotel which is busy servicing 81 rooms, a restaurant and 7 different function rooms. TheGuest Servicerole is pivotal to the daily operation of the hotel and provides the perfect platform for growth opportunities and development, gaining exposure across all areas of the property.

Your duties and responsibilities will encompass:

n

- Guest arrivals and departures.
n
- Upselling of the hotel facilities
n
- Coordination with the Housekeeping department.
n




- Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction and operational requirements are achieved.
n
- Assisting the Front Office Manager with ad hoc tasks
n
- You will have experience with reservations systems (PMS) for hotels
n
- Ensure safety, security and legislative requirements are being met.
n
- Opening and or closing the hotel
n

The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Previous experience in a similar environment. Experience with a PMS is required
n
- A bright, positive and friendly attitude is essential
n
- Authentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills.
n
- Excellent organisation and time management.
n
- Willingness to work across a variety of shifts and areas within the hotel is essential
n
- Living close to North Lakes an advantage
n
