Chef – Full Time – Immediate Start Storybook Holdings Pty Ltd – T/A The Cottage Café & Restaurant Position:- Full Time Salary Range:- $60K - $80K The Cottage Café & Restaurant, Berrima is seeking an experienced chef to join our team.

The position is permanent full-time and based at our family owned and operated Café restaurant in Berrima NSW. To be considered for the position you must have extensive experience working in a busy restaurant kitchen. The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to: Responsibilities:

- Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation




- Costing menu items and sourcing quality products at competitive prices
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and Kitchen staff
- Demonstrating techniques required for the operation of an effective kitchen
- Enforcing hygiene regulations in line with WHS regulations and best practice
- Managing recipe development to ensure the right combination and quantity of food

Experience and Requirements:

- A passion and love of cooking
- 2+ years experience
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to lead and develop other staff members
- A team player
- Be able to work morning, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts
