Mount Cotton Sourdough Bakers is a rapid-paced environment specialising in traditionalSourdough Breads, Gourmet Pies and French inspired Cakes & Pastries.
We are currently seeking a Store Manager on a 12 month maternity leave contract, with the potential for ongoing employment.
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent customer service skills, a passion for all things coffee and a willingness to support and connect with our local community.
This role will require one weekend day.

- Lead the daily operation of the bakery, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a very high standard.
- Supervise and motivate the retail team, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating teams.
- Ability to provide a genuine customer experience.
- Strong organisation and communication skills.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Oversee merchandising, stock rotation, and maintaining an attractive shopfront.
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards at all times for the retail team.
- Participate in hands-on baking and preparation as required, maintaining the quality and consistency of our products.
- Oversee financial management including cash handling, banking, and sales reporting.
- Operation of POS software.
- Operation of Cybake software.
- A positive attitude and take pride in your personal style and presentation.
