Dispenser - Afternoon Shift | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Location: Banksmeadow, NSW
n Pay Rate: $33.85 per hour
n Shift: Afternoon Shift - 1:54 PM to 10:00 PM
n Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are currently seeking a reliable and physically capable Dispenser to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Banksmeadow.

n

The role is hands-on and physically demanding, involving the dispensing of raw materials, manual handling and loading materials into large mixing bins.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Accurately dispense raw materials according to production requirements.
n
- Weigh and prepare raw materials for the manufacturing process.
n
- Manually lift and handle raw materials ranging from 100g up to 25kg.
n
- Handle raw materials supplied in bags and drums ranging from 5kg to 25kg.
n
- Load dispensed materials into mixing bins ranging from 400L to 1,000L.
n
- Move loaded bins to blending rooms with the assistance of a second operator.
n
- Follow pharmaceutical manufacturing procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Maintain a clean and organised work workplace.
n
- Follow production instructions and procedures accurately.
n

Physical Requirements

n

Please note: This is a physically demanding role. Candidates must meet the physical requirements of the position.

n

The successful candidate must be comfortable with:

n

n
- Regular manual lifting of raw materials up to 25kg.
n
- Handling bags and drums weighing up to 25kg.
n
- Repetitive manual handling and dispensing activities.
n
- Loading materials into large mixing bins.
n
- Moving wheeled bins which, when loaded, can weigh approximately 100kg.
n
- Working with a second operator to safely move loaded bins.
n
- Standing, walking, bending and performing manual tasks throughout the shift.
n
