We are looking for a Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to join our team on a casual basis, supporting upcoming project engagements.

This role is primarily focused on on-site IT endpoint deployments, site fit-outs, hardware refreshes, and end-user support, with some light exposure to modern device provisioning where required.

This role involves regional travel and may also require interstate travel, including overnight stays, depending on project requirements.

The Position

We are looking for a Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to join our team on a casual basis, supporting upcoming project engagements.

This role is primarily focused on on-site IT endpoint deployments, site fit-outs, hardware refreshes, and end-user support, with some light exposure to contemporary device provisioning where required.

This role involves regional travel and may also require interstate travel, including overnight stays, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform on-site hardware deployments and refresh activities across customer sites
- Deliver site fit-outs, including installation and setup of:
- Laptops, desktops, and all-in-one devices
- Monitors and monitor arms
- Printers, label printers, barcode scanners, and similar hardware

- Replace existing user endpoint devices with newly provisioned hardware
- Assist end users with initial setup, login, and day-one support
- Reimage devices to Windows 11 where required
- Capture hardware information (e.g. hardware hashes) where applicable
- Maintain accurate deployment tracking and asset records
- Provide general IT support during deployments (connectivity, peripherals, applications, troubleshooting)





Technical Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
- Strong hands-on experience with endpoint hardware deployments and troubleshooting
- Experience working with a wide range of IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and specialised devices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard business applications
- Basic understanding of:
- Active Directory / Entra ID
- Intune / Autopilot (advantageous, but not core to the role)

- Experience in field deployments, multi-site rollouts, or fit-out environments highly regarded

Education & Requirements

- Diploma of Information Technology, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent relevant industry experience considered
- Background in IT support / service desk roles (highly relevant)
- Current driver’s licence and own vehicle (travel between sites required)

- Prioritise and manage assigned deployment tasks and support requests
- Document issues and resolutions during and after deployments
- Maintain accurate service records, time logs, and job notes
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment (WHS)
- Work efficiently within assigned timeframes
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and end users
- Deliver a high level of customer service
