Senior Accountant – Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Manager This isn't a typical senior accountant job. You won't just be another name in the org chart. You'll help build the firm. Inspired Accounting is a young, growing practice in Adelaide's Eastern suburbs. Our clients are great to work with: established business owners in trades and services, transport and construction, farming families, and SMEs going through a growth phase. We run a fully cloud-based, up-to-date tech stack. Our focus is advice that works in the real world, not just ticking boxes at year end. We're looking for an experienced accountant to take ownership of a portfolio of SME groups across tax, compliance and CFO-style advisory work. You'll also have a real say in how the firm operates. What you'll do Look after a portfolio of growing business groups, from preparing the work through to reviewing it and meeting the client Handle year-end tax planning, Division 7A, trust distributions and structuring advice Build budgets, cash-flow forecasts and management reports, and run regular meetings with business owners Review and coach & mentor a small team, and help shape how we work What you'll bring CA or CPA qualification (or close to finishing) 4+ years in Australian public practice working with SME groups Strong tax knowledge and confidence reviewing complex files Experience using Xero and cloud practice tools A practical, plain-English way of explaining numbers to clients What you'll get Above market Remuneration Hybrid working and flexible hours that fit around your life A seat at the table, working directly with the Director on the firm's direction Support to build your own career path, including CPD and CA/CPA support A modern Eastern suburbs office and a modern tech stack Clients you'll get to know, and the chance to see what your advice achieves Informed strategies for real growth.
