Mazenod FC is looking forcommitted and enthusiastic male and female soccer coachesto join our growing MiniRoos and Juniors program.

Over the past five years, our club has experienced significant growth, with27 teams now competing across our MiniRoos and Junior programs. We are committed to creating a professional, positive and development-focused environment where young players can enjoy the game, develop their skills and reach their potential.

Our long-term vision is ambitious:to become recognised as one of Melbourne's leading clubs for MiniRoos and Juniors development within the next ten years.

All coaches at Mazenod FC areremuneratedand receive ongoing support and professional development throughout the season.

Key Coaching Responsibilities

n

Coaches will be expected to:

n

n
- Implement high-quality soccer training sessions in line with the club's methodology and player-development philosophy
n
- Develop training programs that address both team and individual player objectives
n
- Prepare players for tournaments and competitions
n
- Complete player evaluations and development benchmarks to monitor and measure progress
n
- Follow the club's coaching methodology, strategies and game model
n
- Teach players tactical concepts, team structures and game strategies based onMazenod FC principles
n




- Act as a mentor and educator while developing positive relationships with players
n
- Understand individual players' personalities, strengths and areas for development
n
- Lead training sessions that improve players' technical, tactical, physical and psychological development
n
- Make appropriate decisions and substitutions during matchesMaintain open and professional communication with players and parents/guardians
n
- Work collaboratively with other coaches and club staff
n
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and enjoyable environment for all players
n

Requirements

n

Coaches will be required to:

n

n
- Hold, or be willing to work towards, at least aFootball Victoria Foundation of Football coaching qualification
n
- Coaches holding anAFC or UEFA C or B Licencewill be highly regarded and may be considered for opportunities to coachhigher-skilled and more advanced teamswithin the Mazenod FC program
n
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, aWorking with Children Checkif 18 years or older
n
- Have the legal right to work in Australia, including being an Australian citizen, permanent resident or holding all applicable visas and work approvals
n
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and a genuine commitment to youth player development
n
- Previous coaching experience and coaching qualifications are highly regarded, but we are also interested in motivated coaches who are eager to learn and develop.
