The Prospect AnexcitingopportunityisavailableforexperiencedBoilermakersandPipefitterstojoinaleadingengineeringandmaintenancecontractorinWesternAustralia.Workingacrossworkshopandsite-basedprojects,youwillbeinvolvedinstructural,mechanicalandpiping(SMP)fabrication,maintenanceandshutdownactivitieswithintheresourceandenergysectors.

Key Responsibilities

Carryoutstructuralsteelfabricationandinstallation

Fabricate,assembleandinstallindustrialpipingsystems

Performweldingusingapprovedproceduresandindustrystandards

Repairandmaintainpressurevessels,tanksandstructuralcomponents

Interpretengineeringdrawingsandfabricationplans

Completeworkshopfabricationandon-siteinstallationwork





Participateinshutdownandmaintenanceprojects

Inspectfabricatedcomponentstoensurequalitystandardsaremet

Operatefabricationequipmentandpowertoolssafely

Workinconfinedspacesandatheightswhenrequired

Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes

Workcollaborativelywithsupervisorsandprojectteams

Maintainacleanandorganisedworkarea

Completeprojectdocumentationandreportingasrequired

Requirements & Eligibility

AustraliantradequalificationorrecognisedoverseasequivalentinBoilermakingorPipefitting

Demonstratedexperienceinstructural,mechanicalandpipingfabrication

Abilitytopass3Gor4GMMAWandFCAWweldingtests

Previousexperienceworkingonindustrialorminingprojects

CurrentWorkingatHeightscertification

CurrentConfinedSpacecertification

HighRiskWorkLicencewithEWPendorsement

Strongknowledgeofworkplacehealthandsafetypractices

Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicaldrawings
