$64,100 to $75,363 per annum (based on 76 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation, and a 9 day fortnight. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience.

About the role
Council is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Site Supervisor with strong teamwork skills and demonstrated knowledge and experience in civil construction and Work Health and Safety.
In this role, you will use your extensive civil construction knowledge and practical experience to support the successful delivery of Council’s construction projects in accordance with the Delivery Program. Working closely with the Site Supervisor, you will assist in coordinating day to-day construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to a high standard and within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Position requirements
Essential
- Extensive experience in Civil Construction
- White Card
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
Good to have
- Experience working on Local Government projects
- Dogging and rigging license
About you
You are a proactive and practical civil construction professional who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering quality outcomes. You have hands-on experience in civil construction, a strong understanding of Work Health and Safety, and the ability to identify issues and find practical solutions.
You are reliable, safety-focused and take pride in your work. You communicate well, work collaboratively and are keen to develop your skills while supporting the Site Supervisor in delivering Council’s construction projects.
