Morgan is seeking an Associate Director to lead the delivery of our key client engagements — running high-stakes projects and business improvement in complex manufacturing environments, largely on their own.

Who we are

Morgan delivers high-stakes projects and business improvement for complex manufacturing organisations. Our work includes strategy, transformation and project delivery — inclusive of operational readiness, taking new facilities and capabilities from project handover into live operations.

We recently led a program to set up Moderna’s manufacturing operations in Australia. We are exploring new opportunities across complex manufacturing, renewables and data centres. We blend consulting capability with delivery within industry.

What makes us different

Morgan is a hybrid of top-tier consulting and real industry delivery. Then, unlike the traditional model, we deliver it ourselves.

The traditional model splits strategy from delivery, and that handover is where value leaks. A delivery team makes the ten thousand small decisions a project demands, but they make them without the full richness of what stakeholders were trying to achieve. Intent gets synthesised down to a few headline points, the colour behind each choice is lost, and the work drifts from what the client actually needed. It’s also slower.

Because the same Morgan team runs an engagement end to end — from the first conversation through to operational readiness — those thousands of decisions stay anchored in the full context and stakeholder intent. Nothing is lost in translation. At Moderna we drafted the strategy, developed the operating model, supported the organisation design and implementation, set the strategic initiatives,



and drove project delivery through to operational readiness. Same team, no handover.

The role

This is a senior delivery role. You will own client engagements and drive them to outcomes independently, working directly with client executive teams and senior technical experts.

Work you’ll do

- Lead operational readiness and transformation engagements from handover through to running operations.
- Steer groups of senior technical experts — setting the path forward, defining the actions, and holding people accountable without formal authority over them.
- Coordinate outcomes and solve problems as they surface through periods of ambiguity.
- Build and strengthen client relationships and frame their business needs.
- Apply structured problem solving and use data to inform decisions.
- Present outcomes to client executive teams.

What we’re looking for We are less interested in a box-ticking checklist than in the right blend of capability. The ideal candidate brings most of the following. The more you bring, the stronger your fit:

- Experience in complex, regulated manufacturing environments (pharma, biopharma or similar), or comparable complex operations.
- A track record of taking projects from handover into live operations — not just project delivery, but the messy operationalisation phase.
- Demonstrated ability to lead senior technical people you have no authority over — taking them on the journey while driving accountability, and doing it in a way people want to follow.
- Structured problem solving and story-telling; strong executive communication.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree. Preferred masters in engineering, business, or technology.

We are looking for a technology forward individual who can apply leading edge AI and unlock productivity within client organisations.

Consulting experience.​ Experience working with senior stakeholders (senior management, directors, executives, etc.) Experience in manufacturing, pharma, FMCG, sustainability. ​Experience with Relevance AI, ChatGPT5, Gamma AI, Claude, etc. High degree of MS Excel, PPT, Word capability.
