Role Description: The Aviation Quality role would be a full time hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting aviation quality and airworthiness activities. CASA part 145/42 knowledge and awareness of EASA part 145/Part M is ideal.

The role involves auditing, staff authorisation control, management system control, authoring and revising organisation manuals (MOE, SMS, various procedure manuals etc). Coordinating with internal teams and external customers to clarify requirements, address findings, and follow up on corrective actions. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate records, contribute to process improvements,



and ensure that quality management practices align with regulatory and organizational standards.

The position requires regular communication with stakeholders, structured reporting, and adherence to safety and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of aircraft and aviation operations, with the ability to apply this understanding to quality and airworthiness activities.
- Experience or familiarity with aircraft maintenance processes and documentation, including approved maintenance data, maintenance records and compliance checks. Ability to draft manuals.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical and regulatory information.
- Relevant qualifications in aviation, engineering, or a related field; industry certifications or audit training are an advantage.
- Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to learn aviation-specific systems and tools.
- Ability to work both independently and in teams, managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a hybrid work environment. Willing to adapt.
