.NET and Azure Engineer

Our client is a global qualified services and consulting firm whose Cloud & Engineering practice supports organisations in realising their cloud transformation potential and addressing complex technical challenges. The consulting engineering team specialises in platform engineering, cloud-native development and modern integration engineering, delivering tailored cloud platforms and solutions to clients across a range of industries.

The organisation is seeking an experienced Azure Solution Developer/Integration Engineer to join its Cloud & Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand solution requirements and document corresponding design specifications
- Stay current with emerging technical trends and apply innovative approaches to problem-solving
- Develop cloud-native, API-based and modern integration solutions in line with best practice, meeting functional and non-functional requirements
- Conduct integration testing and provide support in troubleshooting technical issues
- Perform code and specification reviews, and support knowledge-sharing across the team




- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Contribute to the broader practice through knowledge-sharing activities and development of internal assets and accelerators

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years' experience developing Web APIs using C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Solid understanding of integration patterns
- Experience with automated unit testing
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar source control and CI/CD platforms
- Highly desirable: experience delivering solutions on Azure, including services such as API Management, App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Container Apps and AKS
- Highly desirable: experience with infrastructure as code (Azure Bicep and/or Terraform) and scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Desirable: experience with OpenAPI specifications
- Desirable: familiarity with GenAI-assisted productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Desirable: Azure and other relevant professional certifications
