Axway API Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and analysis of integration patterns from an API Gateway perspective.
- Design and implement robust, secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs and applications.
- Develop and maintain Axway API Gateway policies to facilitate secure access and seamless system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Monitor and optimize API performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

- Proven experience (Minimum 2 yrs) in Identity integration and Axway API Gateway platform management roles.
- Strong proficiency in Axway API Gateway policy development and management following industry standards and up-to-date frameworks.
- Deep understanding of Identity protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Knowledge of API security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization.
- Familiarity with Identity and API management platforms (e.g., Axway API Gateway,



ForgeRock Identity Platform, Oracle IAM, Mule Gateway, Azure AD).
- Industry experience in Insurance or Banking, with an understanding of industry-specific compliance and security requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GPC) and Cloud Architecture design principles.
- Experience with Splunk for monitoring, analytics, and operational intelligence.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
