Restaurant and Bar Manager – The Yankees Restaurant, Hope Island, Gold Coast The Yankees Restaurant in Hope Island is seeking an experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.

About the role:

- Oversee day-to-day operations across the restaurant and bar
- Manage and roster front-of-house and bar staff
- Ensure high standards of customer service, presentation, and compliance
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Handle staff training, performance, and scheduling
- Monitor budgets, costs, and revenue targets
- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and licensing regulations
- Resolve customer issues and maintain a positive dining experience

What we're looking for:





- Proven experience in a restaurant or bar management role
- Robust leadership and team management skills
- RSA certification (required)
- Sound understanding of stock, cost control, and rostering
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- A hands-on approach and genuine passion for hospitality
