Diversicare is looking for a sharp experienced preferably in the aged care/disability sector, people-focused Rosterer/Scheduler to become the go-to person for workforce scheduling and staff coordination across our Community Aged Care service. What You'll Own
n
Employee Liaison & Support
n
n
- Be the first point of contact for staff on availability, rostering and shift questions
n
- Keep employee records accurate and current — availability, qualifications and leave
n
- Support new starters through the rostering side of onboarding
n
- Proactively communicate roster changes, updates and shift opportunities
n
n
Rostering & Coordination
n
n
- Build and manage rosters that meet client needs while balancing operational and workforce demands
n
- Cover a small on-call component (paid) — approximately 1 in 4 weekends — to keep support running when it's needed most
n
- Build genuine, trust-based relationships with staff that drive engagement and retention
n
n
Timesheet & Payroll Coordination
n
n
- Reconcile timesheets against rostered hours daily
n
- Resolve discrepancies with staff and managers quickly and professionally
n
- Ensure timesheets are approved accurately and on time, every payroll cycle
n
n
Systems & Compliance
n
n
- Maintain high data integrity across rostering and client management systems (e.g. Sarah Solutions)
n
- Track staff compliance — certifications, screenings and more
n
- Generate reports on rostering, attendance and workforce metrics
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
- Proven experience in high-volume rostering, scheduling or coordination
n
- Healthcare,
aged care or community services experience (highly desirable)
n
- Confidence with rostering systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
n
- Strong interpersonal skills and the judgement to manage sensitive situations with professionalism
n
- Sharp organisational skills, time management and an eye for detail
n
- A cool head under pressure and a knack for practical problem‐solving
n
- Understanding of modern awards and industrial agreements (aged care or community sector a plus)
n
- Comfort and confidence working across a culturally diverse workforce
n
