We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a VCE Chemistry Teacher.

About the Role

n

As a VCE Chemistry Teacher at ICOM, you will support students to develop a strong understanding of chemical concepts while building the analytical, problem-solving and practical investigation skills required for success in VCE Chemistry.

n

From exploring chemical reactions and molecular structures to conducting practical investigations and interpreting scientific data, you will create learning experiences that encourage curiosity, precision and scientific thinking.

n

Working collaboratively with our Secondary teaching team, you will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and the broader life of the College while maintaining a positive,



engaging and well-managed classroom.

n

We are looking for a teacher who:

- Has strong knowledge of Chemistry and the VCE Chemistry curriculum
n
- Can make complex scientific concepts clear, relevant and engaging
n
- Values practical investigation, scientific inquiry and evidence-based thinking
n
- Can support students in developing strong examination and problem-solving skills
n
- Builds positive relationships and maintains high expectations for student learning
n
- Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the College community
n

Qualifications & Requirements:

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education or equivalent
n
- Appropriate Chemistry teaching qualifications/method
n
- A commitment to the values and ethos of the College
n
