Knox Private Hospital is seeking motivated and detail-oriented CSSD Technicians to join our Central Sterilising Services Department on a casual basis.

As a valued member of our CSSD team, you will play a critical role in supporting safe patient care by ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are cleaned, sterilised, assembled and supplied to the highest standards.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the CSSD Manager, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Decontamination, inspection, assembly and sterilisation of reusable medical devices
n




- Preparing instrument trays and equipment for operating theatres and clinical areas
n
- Ensuring compliance with infection prevention and sterilisation standards
n
- Maintaining accurate documentation and tracking processes
n
- Contributing to a safe, efficient and well-organised department
n
- Working collaboratively with theatre and clinical teams to support patient care
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous CSSD experience within a hospital setting
n
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (or working towards) desirable
n
- Sound knowledge of sterilisation processes and infection control principles
