The Company

Air Control is a Brisbane and Gold Coast-based company specialising in commercial, light commercial and Queensland Government projects.

n

We provide a complete range of air conditioning services, including installation, maintenance, repairs and mechanical electrical.

n

Due to continued growth and an increased workload, we are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join our team.

n

This is a varied role suited to an experienced trade-qualified technician with a background in installation, service, maintenance or a combination of these areas.

n

The Role

n

Depending on your experience and skill set, your day-to-day work may include:

n

Installation of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment

n

Servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs

n

Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown response

n

Commissioning and testing of new equipment

n

Working on split systems, ducted systems, VRF, package units and commercial equipment

n

Basic electrical and controls-related work

n

Working across commercial, government and light commercial sites

n

Completing service reports, job sheets and other required documentation

n

Maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness and workmanship

n

Communicating professionally with customers, clients and site contacts

n

Working independently as well as as part of a team

n

We are interested in speaking with technicians who have strong practical experience and take pride in delivering quality work, whether your background is primarily service,



installation or both.

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- · Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
n
- · Current Queensland Driver's Licence
n
- · Current First Aid and CPR/LVR certifications
n
- · Sound understanding of WHS/OHS requirements
n
- · Strong trade knowledge and attention to detail
n
- · Pride in workmanship and a professional approach
n
- · Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- · Good communication and customer service skills
n
