About the Role

n

We are looking for an experienced Utility Surveyor to join our growing Utilities team.

n

Combining surveying and underground utilities, you will work in the field capturing accurate survey and spatial data for underground and above-ground infrastructure.

n

Working alongside Utility Locators, Surveyors and project teams, you will help deliver accurate utility information our clients can rely on.

What You Will Be Doing

n

n




- Survey underground and above-ground utility infrastructure
n
- Capture utility positions, depths, levels and attributes
n
- Operate GNSS/GPS, total stations and survey equipment
n
- Establish and verify survey control
n
- Complete feature and detail surveys
n
- Work alongside Utility Locators on underground service investigations
n
- Interpret utility plans, drawings and BYDA information
n
- Complete field checks, QA and accurate project records
n
- Provide survey data for utility plans and client deliverables
n

What We Are Looking For

n

n
- Surveying qualification or relevant industry experience
n
- Experience using GNSS/GPS and total stations
n
- Previous surveying experience within utilities, civil or infrastructure
n
- Strong understanding of survey control and field data capture
n
- Ability to interpret plans and construction drawings
n
- Understanding of AS 5488 highly regarded
n
- Utility locating, GPR or electromagnetic locating experience highly regarded
n
- Current Driver's Licence and White Card
n
