Hospitality Team Members - Front & Back of House

Old Butter Factory is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Hospitality Team Members to join our team across both front and back of house positions.

n

This is a casual role based in Bellingen NSW, with a mix of weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts available.

n

Depending on your experience, roles may include front of house, barista, kitchen hand, dishwasher or hospitality all-rounder duties.

What you'll be doing

n

Front of House

n

n
- Greeting and welcoming customers
n
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
n
- Serving food and beverages
n
- Providing table service and checking on customer needs
n
- Processing cash and card payments
n
- Clearing and resetting tables
n
- Keeping the café clean, organised and presentable
n
- Assisting the team during busy service periods
n

n

Barista

n

n
- Preparing espresso coffee and other beverages to a consistent standard
n
- Texturing milk and producing quality coffee during busy service periods
n
- Keeping the coffee station clean, organised and stocked
n
- Working closely with front of house staff to keep service running efficiently
n

n

Back of House

n

n
- Assisting with basic food preparation
n
- Following recipes and food safety procedures
n
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation
n
- Supporting the kitchen team during service
n
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment
n
- Assisting with stock rotation and food storage
n




- Keeping work areas clean and protected
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Previous hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential for general front of house or kitchen support roles
n
- We are happy to train the right person for suitable positions
n
- Barista applicants must be confident with espresso coffee preparation, milk texturing and working efficiently during busy service periods
n
- Friendly and qualified attitude
n
- Ability to work well as part of a team
n
- Reliability and punctuality
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- Willingness to help across different areas when required
n
- Flexibility to work weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts
n
- Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain it is desirable
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
