Zig Zag Brewery is looking for a Bar Manager to join our growing team in Portland.
We’re a fun, independent brewery with big plans for the future, and there’s plenty of room to grow for the right person. With our beer garden and distillery still to come, now is a great time to jump on board and be part of what we’re building.
We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, enjoys working with people and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Leading and managing the bar team• Staff training, organisation and day-to-day management• Creating a great experience for our customers• Helping develop drink specials and promotions• Managing bar presentation, cleaning and general upkeep• Working with the team on events and live music• Assisting with music bookings and entertainment• Helping drive the atmosphere and culture of the venue• Working closely with management as the brewery continues to grow
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re after someone who is energetic, reliable and enjoys hospitality.
You’ll need to be comfortable leading a team, dealing with customers and keeping things running smoothly during busy periods.
Experience in a bar or hospitality management role is preferred, but personality, attitude and the ability to lead a team are just as important.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
