About the role

FANAEIANS Barber & Spa is seeking experienced professionals for two separate full-time vacancies: one Beauty Therapist and one Barber. You will provide professional beauty, spa, and barbering services tailored to individual client needs in a premium barber and spa environment.

Key responsibilities

Beauty Therapist

- Conduct client consultations and assess treatment suitability
- Deliver facials and skincare treatments
- Provide relaxation massage and body treatments within your qualifications and professional scope
- Perform waxing and men's grooming treatments
- Provide manicure and pedicure services
- Recommend suitable skincare products and aftercare routines
- Maintain accurate client consultation and treatment records
- Maintain clean treatment rooms, equipment and work areas in accordance with hygiene and infection-control procedures
- Build lasting client relationships through attentive, qualified service

Barber:
- Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate haircuts and grooming services
- Deliver contemporary and classic men's haircuts
- Perform clipper work, fades, scissor cuts and styling
- Provide beard trimming, shaping and grooming services
- Perform shaving and traditional barbering services within your training and professional scope
- Recommend suitable grooming products and home-care routines
- Maintain clean workstations and disinfect tools and equipment in accordance with hygiene and infection-control procedures
- Build lasting client relationships through consistent workmanship and professional service

About you

Beauty Therapist

- A relevant qualification in Beauty Therapy, such as an AQF Certificate III (including at least two years of on-the-job training), AQF Certificate IV, or equivalent overseas qualification




- At least 12 months of relevant professional experience in beauty therapy
- Demonstrated experience in facials, skincare, waxing, manicure and pedicure services
- Experience providing relaxation massage and body treatments within your qualified scope
- Strong knowledge of treatment suitability, hygiene and client care
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor treatments to individual needs
- A reliable, professional approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a premium spa or men's grooming environment will be highly regarded

Barber:
- At least 12 months of relevant professional barbering or hairdressing experience
- Demonstrated experience in men's haircuts and styling
- Strong clipper, fade and scissor-cutting skills
- Experience in beard trimming, shaping and grooming
- Sound knowledge of hygiene procedures and safe tool handling
- Excellent communication and client consultation skills
- A reliable, professional approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A relevant barbering or hairdressing qualification, including an equivalent overseas qualification, will be highly regarded

Benefits

- Full-time employment with 38 ordinary hours per week
- An annual salary of $80,000–$85,000 plus superannuation, depending on relevant skills and experience
