Your new role

As the Benefits Officer, you will support benefits management, benefits realisation, evaluation, analysis and reporting activities across a portfolio of programs and projects. Working closely with a Senior Benefits Officer, you will help identify, measure and communicate the benefits associated with major digital investments.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting benefits management and benefits realisation activities across programs and projects
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting benefits data and supporting evidence
- Contributing to economic, behavioural and qualitative benefits assessments
- Supporting cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness and return-on-investment analysis
- Developing and monitoring benefits measures, indicators and evaluation frameworks
- Preparing reports, briefing materials, dashboards and presentations
- Reviewing benefits assumptions, evidence and reporting to support assurance activities
- Building productive stakeholder relationships to improve benefits identification and measurement
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of benefits frameworks, methodologies and tools

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Experience in benefits management, benefits realisation, program evaluation, performance measurement or a related analytical discipline
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
- Experience contributing to economic evaluation or cost-benefit analysis
- The ability to collect and interpret information from multiple sources
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing reports, briefs or presentations for varied audiences
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes with limited direction

Experience in digital health, health economics, public policy, health services research, data analytics or program evaluation will be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications and experience using data analysis or visualisation tools would also be advantageous. Applicants must be able to obtain a NV1 security clearance. The role can be based in NSW, ACT or QLD and offers versatile hybrid working arrangements.
