About the role

We’re looking for skilled Boilermaker/Fabricators to join our high-performing Paget team.

This is more than just workshop fabrication. You’ll work across light to heavy fabrication, component repairs, complex assemblies and site-based maintenance and workshop based this will be a 50/50 role, giving you plenty of variety and the chance to work on projects across mining, ports and other industries — locally, interstate and overseas.

What you'll be doing You’ll be part of a crew responsible for delivering quality fabrication, repairs and maintenance work, including:

- Light to heavy steel fabrication
- Fabrication involving stainless steel and complex assemblies
- MIG / Flux Core welding — TIG and Stick experience advantageous
- Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings

- Component assembly and welding
- Operating overhead cranes, forklifts and workshop equipment
- Site-based maintenance of conveyor systems




- Delivering consistently high standards of safety, quality and workmanship

What we're looking for We want Boilermakers who take pride in getting the job right the first time.

You’ll bring strong fabrication skills, an eye for detail and the ability to plan and manage your work effectively. Just as importantly, you’ll be reliable, motivated and someone who contributes positively to the team.

To be successful, you’ll have:

- Relevant Boilermaker trade qualification
- Current driver's licence — HR highly regarded
- High-risk tickets such as forklift, dogging or rigging — advantageous
- Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
- A strong safety and quality mindset
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
