About the job

If you an experienced corporate communications or public relations qualified looking for a high-impact, hands-on role in the pharma industry. If so, you'll join Mayne Pharma Australia as our Brand & Communications Manager, reporting to the AU Vice President and General Manager and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to strengthen employee understanding, stakeholder relationships, media and industry profile, and corporate reputation.

This is a rare opportunity to own brand, PR, reputation and communications strategy end-to-end within an ASX-listed, globally connected pharmaceutical business — a hands-on manager role that combines strategic planning with genuine, on-the-ground execution. You won't do it alone. You'll partner closely with Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, People & Culture and Quality teams, and have the backing of the Senior Leadership Team, to build a clear, credible and consistent Mayne Pharma narrative.

Your responsibilities, at a glance, will include:

- Developing and delivering Mayne Pharma Australia's integrated internal and external communications, PR and corporate brand strategy.
- Owning the editorial, campaign, website and social media calendar.
- Planning and delivering leadership communications, company announcements, employee updates and change communications.
- Developing and executing proactive PR and media engagement plans, and coordinating media enquiries through approved spokesperson protocols.
- Drafting media releases, executive communications, briefing materials and thought leadership content.
- Building the profile of Mayne Pharma Australia and its senior leaders through events, panels, speaking opportunities and industry forums.
- Owning the corporate LinkedIn presence and other approved social channels, including content, approvals and community management.
- Maintaining corporate brand standards and an accessible library of approved templates and assets.
- Supporting product launches,



business development and customer communications alongside Commercial, Medical and Regulatory teams.
- Managing PR, creative and digital agencies, budgets, timelines and communications KPIs.
- Developing, maintaining and testing crisis and issues management plans, and providing communications leadership during business-critical events.

You need to tick these boxes

- To be successful in this role you will also have:
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, business or a related discipline.
- At least five years of corporate communications, public relations and/or related experience, including ownership of manager-level deliverables.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling and presentation skills across executive, employee, media and digital audiences.
- Proven delivery of integrated internal and external communications plans, executive communications, media relations and digital content.
- Strong judgement, discretion and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage sensitive issues.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, project management and agency-management capability.
- Strong visual judgement and the ability to quality-control presentation, design and digital work.

Nice to have

- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, biotechnology, manufacturing, another regulated sector or an ASX-listed business.
- Experience supporting product launches, commercial campaigns or business development initiatives.
- Experience in issues, crisis and organisational change communications.
- Knowledge of the Australian pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Established networks across South Australian business, government, industry associations or chambers.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and common design, publishing and social media tools.
