Casual Chef - Cabukee Cafe (Emerald Lakes, Carrara)

We’re hiring a casual chef to join our kitchen team at Cabukee, a busy specialty coffee and brunch cafe. You’ll cook brunch service alongside our head chef and kitchen crew, keep the pass moving, and help with prep and close.

- Role: Casual cook (Restaurant Award Level 2 / Cook Grade 1)
- Pay: about $33.85/hr weekdays, $40.62/hr Saturday (award casual rates; Sunday same as Sat if rostered)
- Hours: roughly 25–30 hours a week on average
- Usual days: Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat (covers the days our head chef is off on Thu and Sat). Shifts are usually about 7:00am–2:30pm (~6–7.5 hours)
- Must be available weekends (especially Saturday) and happy on a brunch kitchen pass
- Experience: solid cafe/brunch kitchen experience preferred

Location: Emerald Lakes, Carrara, Gold Coast. Apply with a short note on your kitchen experience and weekend availability. Pay: $33.00 – $40.00 per hour
