Part-Time Building Designer / Draftsperson

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Building Designer / Draftsperson to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible working arrangements while contributing to a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Working closely with our team, you will be responsible for preparing drawings, assisting with project documentation, and supporting the design and drafting process from concept through to construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify drawings using Revit and AutoCAD LT

- Produce accurate documentation and construction drawings

- Review and mark up plans and drawings using PDF markup software

- Liaise with project stakeholders as required

- Assist with estimating and quantity take-offs where applicable

- Support project delivery and documentation processes

Skills & Experience

Essential:

- Proficiency in Revit





- Proficiency in AutoCAD LT

- Diploma of Building Design or equivalent qualification

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

- Competent in PDF mark-up tools

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

- Structural detailing experience

- Estimating and take-off scheduling experience

- Previous experience in the residential or commercial building industry
