Business Analyst – Full-Time

Location: Strathfield, NSW

Salary: $90,000–$98,000 per annum plus superannuation

Australia Network Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our clients’ ICT and business systems operations across Sydney. You will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team to analyse business requirements, improve operational processes and assist with the implementation of effective system solutions.

About You The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in business analysis, ICT systems support or business systems operations
- A relevant qualification in Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of business processes, system workflows and operational requirements
- Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, Google Workspace or similar business platforms
- Ability to prepare process documentation, user manuals, operational reports and system support materials
- Robust stakeholder communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical users
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy and continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities





- Review and analyse existing business processes, ICT workflows and operational systems to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Consult with internal users, clients and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional and system requirements
- Prepare business requirements documents, workflow diagrams, process notes, user guides and system documentation
- Collaborate with developers, IT support teams and business users to ensure requirements are clearly communicated and effectively implemented
- Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, issue management and the implementation of system enhancements
- Review and improve user-access processes, account-management procedures, shared-drive structures, permission controls and application workflows
- Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate system records and support data integrity across business platforms
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, staff training and system-usage guidance
- Monitor system performance, user enquiries and service requests to support reliable daily operations
- Provide practical solutions that improve business efficiency and system usability
