We're partnering with a state government department to find an experienced Business Architect, to be responsible for managing the development of the Concept of Operations (ConOps), ensuring the solution aligns with organisational objectives, operating models, and business practices while establishing a practical and sustainable pathway to adoption.

- 12-Month Initial Contract with potential extensions
- Based in Brisbane with 50% WFH
- Experience with Concept of Operations and Target Operating Models highly regarded

About this position: In this role, you'll lead the development of the Concept of Operations (ConOps), working closely with stakeholders to ensure the solution aligns with organisational objectives, operating models, and business practices, while shaping a practical, sustainable pathway to adoption.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the development of the Concept of Operations (ConOps)
- Facilitate operational modelling activities to define future-state business operations




- Engage stakeholders across the organisation to align on future operating models and business processes
- Design practical adoption pathways to support successful transition and user acceptance
- Identify opportunities to optimise ways of working within organisational constraints and structures
- Provide expert advice on Information Architecture (IA) design supporting the OpenText solution
- Support transition to contemporary architecture and target operating model
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and governance bodies to progress IA objectives
- Ensure IA decisions support organisational needs, compliance, and future-state capabilities
- Contribute to Managed Service Design activities as required
- Ensure alignment between the Concept of Operations and end-user support models
